One of the key advantages of the TASER Bolt Police Strength Self Defense is its 15-foot engagement range. This distance allows you to respond to a threatening situation before an attacker is able to reach you physically. By maintaining this space, users have a better chance to create separation and safely leave the area rather than remaining in a dangerous confrontation.
When fired, the cartridge launches probes connected to the device by conductive wires. Once contact is made, the device delivers a controlled electrical pulse designed to disrupt voluntary muscle control and temporarily incapacitate the attacker. The 30-second cycle provides a critical window to move away from danger and seek assistance.
The TASER Bolt Police Strength Self Defense also includes a backup contact stun capability. If the cartridge has already been deployed or removed, the device can still function as a direct-contact stun device, offering an additional defensive option in close-range situations.
Power is supplied by a Lithium Power Magazine, a replaceable power source specifically designed for TASER® consumer models. Unlike rechargeable batteries, this power magazine is disposable and should be replaced according to manufacturer guidelines to maintain proper performance.
